In the realm of transfer news, Navy freshman OLB/S Dean Sise received his release from Annapolis and is going to announce where he will transfer on 12/15/17. He was a two star recruit out of Juanita High in Kirkland. He is looking at Oregon State, EWU, and a few other Big Sky schools, and he’s already took an official visit here for the Weber State game. I think there’s a very good chance we could get him.

If any of you have Showtime, he was featured in the first couple episodes of their ‘A Season With Navy’ series.

I noticed both of those guys got full ride scholarships. I guess they must be legit to get full ride offers. Or maybe our financials have improved where we can offer more full rides? I was of the impression we mostly offered half scolarships.

Most of our players are full rides nowadays although we do a good job with dividing some schollies. Both of these players are great additions and are very much deserving of full rides. I know the Griz really wanted Stell
