This is precisely why the early signing day was enacted. They obviously are not committed to Eastern so Eagles can move on to others.
 
I wouldn't worry too much about the guys who have committed and yet to sign. A lot of times guys say they are committed but in truth are still looking around. That's just the way the game is played. To me "commitment" is literal, but these kids are pressed to commit and sometimes aren't 100%. Keep in mind, these guys are 18 or so and probably don't spend a lot of time thinking about their future.

Here's another thing to think about, I think we only lose something like 13 schollie players. This is not going to be a big class. Having 7 quality kids at this stage sets the table for a good group.

There's room to grow the number for the February signing. Locked in most of the early commits, Zion was showing on Scout for awhile as a target.

Haven't waded through the 90 pages of Griz commentary but the net net looks like they picked up a bunch of Montana players... Not going to take the time to watch their video, instance thoughts run to our athlete's are better.. The Fouch kid looked pretty good. Pulled from Payton Lives list.

I wouldn’t worry about Montana. They do a good job at getting in state kids, but realistically there’s limited D1 caliber kids in that state most years...Sulser will be a good one for them.

Our class was absolutely lights out last year and most of those kids redshirted so we will see that talent next year...
 
Looks like a good haul so far, considering we have limited schollies to award this year. Stell and Sampson are probably waiting for the Pac-12 to come calling.

Looking forward to all the last several classes being on the field for the Eags. Wasn't sure how many schollies were available this cycle, know periodically, we have a small class, but these are talented dudes. Guess we will see what happens when the other shoe drops in February. #1 baby ;-)
 
I merged the topics and updated the first page. Hopefully the 3 verbals that didn't sign on 12/20 are still on board. That would still leave us with 2 open schollies. Hoping for a couple of OL/DL transfers from a P5 to round this class out.

Don't think we were heavily recruiting him. Sometimes kids just want to play away from home.
