So I'm guessing Brennon Mangum will be a PWO

I would suspect so based on the photo and no NLI. Likely a mission kid/grey shirt and then the scholarship logjam will free up something. His sister plays volleyball for Weber as well, so he is probably very familiar with the Athletic department.

This is the most we have ever signed in the early period. I know that, in the past, we have only wanted to sign 'can't miss' guys early and wait to see who falls throught the high major cracks before filling our roster. That tells me that these guys ar top notch. I'm sure that some will go on missions and not be able to contribute for a few years. Some of these guys will contribute this spring and some will be with us for the fall. I also expect to see a huge number of guys hitting the transfer portal. It might be a good idea to keep a few openings for the right sort of transfer.

I'm excited for spring football. It's not that far off. :thumb: :thumb:

Cade Harris just got offered by Air Force. Am I only one that thinks Weber State should be offering the best few kids from Weber/Davis county most years? It’s kinda frustrating that we probably could have signed him during the early signing period and now he’s got a MW offer.

For a 5'8'', 175lb guy, Cade looks quite athletic and surely has some good potential. I'm sure that our coaches were aware of him and have probably talked to him. It's great that he has an offer from AF. He must fit well with what they are after. I hope he does well there. :coffee:

As I've followed recruiting the past several years one thing I've noticed is that the service academies give out a ton of offers. It's pretty common to see Big Sky recruits also have offers from one or more of the service academies. Still, it's always great to see local kids getting D1 offers.
