Where's Palm Desert Eagle dude? He was hooked up on Twitter in the past.

I'm still hoping for at least one significant LB transfer... There are several available from Oregon, WaSt, UW and other "local" universities that check the boxes physically. Character and desire first.

December 15th Show.

Eag's have offered a long snapper and kicker today.... hope they offer a special teams coach cause that's where it begins and ends. The kicker didn't have much to do with giving up three fake punts to Weber or failed to cover punts or kickoffs adequately. If you're not bringing in an ace kicker who can put it through the endzone every kickoff or routinely boot 45+ fg's under pressure, what's the point? This is about mentality, not ability IMO. Wish these young men well, just isn't really addressing the issue at the root cause.

What is important to the head coach will be important to the team. Special teams is important to Bobby Hauck and they beat us with special teams. If special teams is so low on Best's totem pole that we don't even have anyone coaching that we will forever be weak in that aspect of the game.

Can't disagree with this sentiment. I mentioned the other day coaches are slooooooow to change their natures and probably haven't seen it ever happen... Good coaches recognize where they have deficits and find people who do care about such things to fill the gaps. It's how good teams are built in business and I suspect in most endeavors. Maybe this is why there are so few good teams, self awareness of leadership is crucial.
