At Oregon, At Florida, At Montana, At Weber….next year could be rough…
But how fun will that be for players, to experience Pac 12, and SEC facilities??

It’s fine once a year…twice in one year against 2 top 15 teams, it’s a killer for the schedule

How much over 1,000,000. will this be? Thats only about 4,000 season tickets.
I'll take the cash!

It is what it is for next season... it's a serious problem, but the only way it doesn't happen is if Oregon or Florida buy out of the game, which is unlikely. It cannot, under any circumstances, be a new "normal" to voluntarily put two losses on the schedule.

mentioned on Eags in pro's but hard to see that thread so update Bourne had 7 catches 2 td's and 77yds for New England in the game vs Buffalo that just finished.

I like this series of pictures Eags have been posting about 2022 workouts... These players never stop working. Last years 2 seasons in 1 had to be absolutely brutal.

Are there any questions left for the upcoming year?

Is special teams going to be addressed? Eags had made offers to a top LS and Kicker. I didn't think those positions were all the issue, there were poor moments but Seth had been hurt and it felt like coaching was the issue in the kicking game. The HUGE issue was kick coverage, aggression, recognition and the lack of faith from the coaching staff to kick away.

There is good depth and there should be players who want to earn more playing time by excelling on special teams. Until Best recognizes that it's better to trust than "protect", this problem won't go away. Everyone likes smart football, was the kickoff game smart last season? So many field position issues, especially in games the Eags lost.

Feel like we may still pick up a dlineman/tackle before all is said and done. We lost a good one but teams always have that slush fund for for late pickup or award current players with a bump if they are on partial. fingers crossed.
No doubt special teams will be addressed still wonder why an adjustment wasn't made when it clearly ws an issue. This has to be #2 just behind finding the QB(I believe they know the top 2 are maybe top 3).
Cool story in the making with the big olineman 6'6 320lber Bret Fullington. Hope he gets to a starting position. I believe it's him who is legally deaf and hits home because I've coach three deaf athletes and they were all success stories. (Track and Soccer)
I like what we have now and who we got now. We have the coaches to win.

Chapin has never had QB's like the ones on the roster at Eastern today. Any one of them could have won him a championship at Sioux Falls. Would like to think this position competition leads to the best player. Seniority or HS rating should not be a factor. Fingers crossed. Expect at least 3 of the QB's to make this really hard on the coaches.

The fact the special teams weren't addressed and the same issues (squib kicks, poor coverage, etc) were repeated season over season leads me to speculate and question some of the base beliefs Best holds. I think the players are well coached. It's these "little things" that cause so much frustration. Why are these types of calls Best's factory setting? I hear him speak and it's all on track but the evidence over time is mounting that some of these issues may lie in his mindset. I'm prepared to let it go but please don't think players who are being recruited for 2-3 years aren't noticing... they are. Even if they can't define it. If Marc Anderson's twitter posts are any indication, Eags are focused on maintaining a high octane offense. So, there will be plenty to cheer about.

Any good quarterbacks out there? Maybe someone with the skills of BLM, Big Play VA, or EB3?

Bueller??? It's gone dark with the Spring news. Anyone seen a practice??

Was actually at practice twice last week.
Guys seemed excited and working hard. The O line is monsterous.
Liked what I saw in the DBs they are agressive.
As for qbs...super windy crazy weather the days I was there. No real standout in my mind so far.

Well, if all agreed I nominate 98 as our "eyes on the field master",...going once, twice, three times its's a done deal!

Hahaha
Nice try. Next time I'll be watching is the red white game from my home. Was only on campus for my sons robotics competition.
One of my other sons is a huge football junkie and wanted to go watch.
I will add Best was energetic as ever as well!
