Idk about the kids playing nowadays, in my time, football players we would never chase down a scared student, we would just respond if someone brought a situation to us and couldn’t avoid. I’ve seen online where a lot are wondering how we’re getting these P4 type players. It’s not about the money, it’s about playing time and cashing that in later. No one gets better by sitting usually (back up players are not making that much, even at p4). That’s why a lot of players like Kuntz and Mason B will do well next year because even though they’re not as highly rated, there in game experience makes a big difference
