2025 Offseason Portal Tracker

Drew Carlson from Fresno St. says he is graduate student but on Fresno site he was a freshman last year. Looks like EWU may have made him an offer outta Olympia hs...6'1 175 had 1,200 all-purpose yards as a senior … scored 11 touchdowns … was a first team all-league athlete . So this could be a good get having a few years left.
*wonder if these pictures on rooster are new already. Ulm's hair looks a couple inches taller.

Or money talks....
Man you people need to stop thinking everyone who enters the portal is cashing huge checks. 40% of kids who enter the portal don't end up being offered anywhere.

Who is gonna give a freshman FCS player money for anything. Its been a week, if he had anything lined up he would have announced it already.

Ganter Jr to Boise State. It was about the money.
Can you prove he is actually getting money? A power house FBS team would bring in a FCS red shirt freshman for depth, not to be a starter you'd give NIL money to. It's going to be way harder to earn game time against Boise State safeties than Easterns safeties.

Money talks...... High profile safety that played well at FCS. Lots of tools to make that next step with 3 years left.. Any money these players are being offered is more than what we have been able to offer. They feel they have to provide for their families and any amount of money is "big money" in their eyes.

While I agree, many players are leaving and just sitting in the portal, huge numbers sitting there previously (more than 40%) however most of our jumps into the portal have been money promised including this one. Lots of "agents" out looking to collect 20% of kids payoffs. As for "it's been a week" the paperwork pieces take time to clear before they can be announced.

Yea Ganter isn't getting any money. All this awards and one season of play shows is he is worth adding for depth in hopes he will contribute in the future. He will have to earn play time and a starting spot.

I don't know what this "most" shit is you're talking about. Look at just this season.

From their social media.

Anthony James - 1 FCS offer from Stetson (FCS)
Bishop Blakely - Nothing
Jackson Cleaver - UTEP (FBS)
Kekoa Visperas - Tennessee Tech (FCS) I heard he got $20k
Luke Womack - South Dakota State (FCS)
Marcellus Honeycutt Jr - CSU-Pueblo (D2)
Bret Fullington - Montana Tech (NAIA)
Jaylen Garrison - Nothing
Nick Adimora - Nothing
Tuna Altahir - Stanford (FBS)
Michael Wortham - Montana (FCS)
Derek Ganter - Boise State (FBS)

All I heard is Visperas got $20k from a car dealership and he was literally our starting QB and the most accurate QB in the FCS.

I have no idea how Tuna ended up at Stanford being a very mediocre FCS running back. I doubt he got any money unless you count a Stanford degree which has its own worth.

Maybe Montana threw a few dollars at Wortham since Bobby Hauck does like his special teams.

It's not all money, Eastern is a dumpster fire now. If we could offer them a winning team that garners national attention with deep playoff runs and beating FBS teams like we did before, most of these players would stay. When the ship is sinking any offer seems good, even is the offer is just from a better FCS team.

I agree 100%, No sugar coating it, we are in bad shape.

Those players that you speak of all received some type of money. From reliable sources Tuna is possibly receiving up to 6 figures. Visperas is a bit higher then what you are leading in to ( though his original deal fell through), Wortham stated that he had to provide for his family indicating that he received money, and now Ganter was taken in the Spring (and is receiving $$). Besides that, we frequently have those that leave the program because of the way things are right now, and I can agree with that. What I can't agree is that these players aren't being sniped or recruited away with offers or false offers from other programs. While you may not agree, this is what I have heard in conversations. I would agree we have a bit of a sinking ship, however it doesn't change the fact the whole landscape has changed.

Changing subjects. Does anyone have information on possible transfer portal signings? I am hoping for some DL & OL help with experience.
