2025 Recruiting Thread

FWIW all the HS recruits signed are 3 star players. With Andy going to Stanford will any of these players follow through on their commitment?

Correct… just shows how a good recruiter can find great players that are overlooked.

Have to dig deeper into the HS scene to see those that aren’t getting ranked ⭐️’s with publicity.

From Stockton to Chico there’s a ton of talent.

It’s utterly ridiculous that Skattebo was so under-recruited. The kid starred for a State title winner his junior year and made numerous jaw dropping plays, several of which went viral. While not prototypical size, he’s not really that undersized either. And most of all he has an elite skill that many scouts will tell you is among the most important for a runner. Balance!

I was super excited, as were a couple of others here, when the Hornets actually landed him. I didn’t think it would actually happen.

Circling back to your point, yes, there are plenty of overlooked players every single year. There are so few roster spots available. Players are learning that even the portal is ultra competitive.
