2026 Football Schedule Thread

Some Salukis talking about SIU at Sac State on August 27.
Makes sense.... couple more to go, seems like no MAC in '26. It'll be interesting to play all these first-time opponents at least!

There are rumors.... I think this schedule is in play....

  • 09/05 - Lamar
  • 09/12 - @Fresno State
  • 09/19 - Youngstown State
  • 09/26 - @Central Michigan
  • 10/03 - Eastern Michigan
  • 10/10 - Toledo
  • 10/17 - BYE

Okay, this is the NIU schedule, which we might inherit? The only Non-Con game we've publicly said we are keeping is Fresno State. Do we keep MVSU? Heard we are trying to get USC for Week 0!?

As of today, FBschedules is still showing what you posted 03 FEB 26, Kadeezy. I do, however, think your supposition about "inheriting" N. IL's conference schedule is logical. Regardless, though, of whether the MAC does that or makes a completely new schedule, the 03 FEB schedule will have to change because at the very least there are not enough gaps for conference games, and we wouldn't want to have too many FCS games.

That last point, though, might not be much of a thing if they're going to hold us to a multi-year transition restriction. You and SD would probably know more about that than me, K....
