hard to see more than 6 wins on that schedule.
I just cringe seeing UW on the schedule. In the prior decade playing a Pac12 team was an exciting prospect. Now I just hope for it to not be an embarrassment. In person I've seen Eastern play Oregon, Jazz and UW and Eastern always represented itself well. Hopefully we can get back to those days.

it was a lot of fun watching Kupp tear up all PNW Pac-12 teams the four years he played, even if he only beat two of them.
Jazz? What the? That should of been wazzu. My daughter attended Eastern the 4 years Kupp played. Kupps first year Eastern beat Oregon state. Watched that game on TV (pac12 network). Prior to that the only time I saw an Eastern game on TV ( I live 30 miles south of Seattle) was when they played the Huskies in 2011. Back to Kupps first season i think it was the second year Root sports was putting Big Sky games on TV here. I remember Root had Eastern vs Cal Poly, Montana and Portland state. All were good games and Kupp played great in all of them. I was instantly a big fan. He'll whats not to like? VA chucking the ball to Kupp and Ashton Clark. After that Oregon game we had duck fans who tailgate next to us asking who that #10 was. Then we explained he was the FCS freshman of the year for the previous season. I guess Kupp really made an impression. Oregon was ranked #7 but Kupp set a stadium record. I also was excited
About a fresh QB Reilly Hennessy. He came in halfway through the 3rd quarter and he played great. I thought for sure he was going to have a great career at Eastern. If Oregon didn't have VA it could have been a really close game. Oregon other QB was very average. Not only did he lose the starting job to VA but he also lost out the next year to Dakota Pruhkup who transferred from Montana state. Oh well back to reality!

Those days were such an embarrassment of riches at QB. What Jordan West was starter, Reilly Hennessy was back up and Gage Gubrud was after him? And Gage ended up being the multi season starter? Hennessy ended up transferring to CWU and tore it up there. He would easily come in Eastern now and win the starting job. He had the arm of Schakel but was mobile.
I was in undergrad at Eastern during those days and saw Jordan West at the Mitchell's.
Jeff Lockie was horrible, I can't believe he was Marcus Mariota's back up. Yea I wouldn't have said we would have won either cause of Oregon's crazy good running backs but their defense was bad.
