#4 Weber State @ Idaho

We have a freshman starting at offensive left tackle and he has made a ton of mistakes. We are lucky that this hasn't gone worse. Later in the half, they at least brought the TE over to help him a bit. Our O line play needs to improve. We can pass all day on this team if we have the time. UI has some good D linemen, but we are making them look like NFL players. :coffee:

Man it is so frustrating watching our offense.

Oh, come on now, "what is there to complain about?"
This very good team would be so much better with a solid O. There are glimpses but it's usually short-lived. I always think the o-line needs to provide longer protection but really I think the O plays are too slow developing, especially on many of the run option looks. At least when they're not trying to run the clock out after the first quarter, it is at least more competitive offensively.

Defensively, I'd love to see the overall tackling get lower. The UI backs have been able to take advantage of some shoulder tackling and have noticed it in some other games too.

I agree, the flying W has to become a mainstay again; it's such a classic and sweet look.

That was the crown of the helmet, huh?

Questionable. The QB ducked his head which caused the helmet to helmet and then sold it by acting like he got shot. Meanwhile his daddy goes bizerck on the sideline.

Last two games, Special Teams carrying them even more than the Defense. I guess you could throw in some luck with IDaHo penalties too.

Not a fan of Weber's inability to close out games strong when they are in control. It almost feels like an attitude. A win's a win but looking ahead to better opponents and/or possible playoff games, it's not what you hope for.
