I don't understand how Bull isn't on this list. He should be. Thank you catcat for posting his accomplishments.
John Hamilton is on the list. I also thought of Andy Jensen. He was a big part of the team that beat Carolina.WSUfan said:I would trade Slobadan for Johnny Hamilton. Anyone remember his fresh year making a game tying 3 vs. Princeton? I would also consider Andy Jensen, Chris King or Damien King...
Jensen was a two-year starter for the Weber State Wildcats under then-Head Coach, Ron Abegglen, earning All-Big Sky Conference honors his junior and senior seasons. Jensen was Captain of the 1998-99 Weber State team that won 25 games, captured the Big Sky Conference Championship and defeated the University of North Carolina in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Jensen played in 51 games during his career at Weber (1997-99), starting all but one of those contests. He finished his career at the Ogden, Utah school with averages of 9.4 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. He set a WSU school record for field goal percentage, hitting 124-187 shots (.663). He is also a co-holder of the WSU record for field goal percentage in a game (8-8 vs. Alabama in ‘98).
Jensen’s presence was also felt by opposing players trying to score in the paint. His most notable performance came against 7-foot, 260 pound North Carolina center, Brendan Haywood, in the 1999 NCAA Tournament. A master of his craft, Jensen held the future NBA first-rounder to just one point and zero rebounds in 24 minutes.
