#6 EWU vs. Weber State Game Thread

- We won, and won big, that's all that matters, Weber was never in this game.

- We had a great crowd on Saturday, it was a lot of fun!

- Not sure how we can complain when we won our Big Sky opener by 22 points. Funny how we enjoy some success over the past few years and a 22 point win isn't good enough. Remember 5 years ago, we almost dropped our football program....

- Vernon Adams is the real deal. He has 22 td's in 5 games and is on record breaking pace, and he's only a sophomore....who cares how he looks at times, he is more than getting the job done...

- We should easily win our next 2 games, setting up a big time show down in Missoula in 3 weeks.

Enjoy the ride...

I couldn't agree more! Nobody is arguing that there is room for improvement but they played well enough to win by 22 points. It could have been larger but a W is a W. We need to relax and enjoy the ride. Let's gear up for a road game in North Dakota this week and let the coaches do the coaching. :thumb:

Probably not a huge difference between the two. The main thing is we had Weber at home and UND is on the road. Anyone remember the South Dakota debacle in 2011?

So which team is worse? Weber State or North Dakota?

I've seen both play, and there is no question Weber is worse. I believe I've now seen everyone n the conference play at least once, and I'd say Weber will likely be winless this season in conference play... they are not as good as Idaho State or Northern Colorado either.

North Dakota, despite being better than Weber, still aren't very good. But it's our first game in a dome this season, and it's a long trip into Grand Forks (which is the most remote outpost in the conference by far). This game isn't a walkover, we'll need to be on our game. Putting forth a mediocre effort like we did last week will keep this game close.
