#6 Sac @ Colorado State

I'm excited to see them open up the playbook a bit.

If I were to make guesses on how, I would:

See Tau-Tolliver get some outside runs to help setup runs for Skattebo inside.

See Asher have a big game throwing a couple deep balls. Opposing QB's are completing 71.8% of passes on the Rams through three weeks.

See Carlos Hill get the ball in his hands early. The coaches really seem to think he could be a big play guy with his speed. We need a breakaway threat with Gandy out, who I think most of us expected to be that guy this year.

These are all great points. Is Gandy injured?

This is Taylor’s chance to slice and dice an FBS school before
He has his West Coast FBS job of choice this off-season. I picked this as a loss in the preseason, but I’m going full homer on this one.

SAC 41
Rams 28

Also the game is on the Mountain West Network -- download that app on any of your smart devices... its free and you'll see it in the schedule Saturday.

CSU will be wearing alternate orange jerseys and helmets Saturday for Ag Day. Ew.

Thanks for the info. Not going to be on ESPN+.
As SD said, Evoca is local broadcaster.

Dang, AD needs to update their graphic and game notes!

I’ll have to find it through the stadium app I suppose? Almost booked a last minute flight, but it’s a small fortune!

Start driving.
Ive driven from Sac to Denver non-stop.

Lets hope not.
Look at the adventures of Bobby Hauck, sometimes its better to be in a position you were meant to be in. TT could eventually have the stadium named after him, at FBS its go or gone.
From what I've read, TT isn't chasing $$. But I don't know the man.

I think what Troy is going to see on Saturday is a new on-campus football stadium and an idea to try to get this done at Sac State and build a dynasty... Lots of private money went into building a stadium that is top of the class at a public institution. Our privately funded temporary Stadium/Erector set is the biggest challenge to keeping Coach Taylor around for the next 15 years.

If Taylor gets this built, he is a god among men.

Shouldn't that burden fall on the AD Orr and President Woke?
Taylor should be responsible for two things: graduating players and winning.

I asked this very question in last week’s game thread. I’ve not heard a thing, but would assume he must be.

That’s the thing about following Sac St.compared to a P5 program — things like injuries to key players are often under reported.

For a while I was beginning to think I was the only one remembering what a stud Devin Gandy is.

We need that kid back in the lineup ASAP.

It really should, but frankly, only Taylor moves the needle in Sac…

He’s still on the roster, not on the depth chart - kid is lightning in a bottle… hopefully he comes back.

For the lurking CSU Ram Fans, here’s the current line I was referencing.

Catching the Rams in the week they pick up the #1 ranking in CBS Sports' Bottom 25, and #3 in ESPN's Bottom 10. Between these and the betting lines, it's weird to think of Sac playing up as a "should win".

IMO, that's a good thing. I know it's frustrating from a fan's persepctive, but why give the enemy free intel?

I decided to put my two cents in regarding Troy Taylor and his future as Sac State's head football coach. I believe he will fulfill his contract and then move on to a more reputable university. I say this because Sac State doesn't have strong interest from the Sacramento community (whether it's the students, the alumni, businesses and individuals). Coach Taylor will do what he can to keep the Hornet football team a conistent winner, but I don't think it will mean much as far as new facilities or better community interest. So like I said, I'll just enjoy what's happening currently because I know once Mr. Taylor's contract ends, not much will change as far as Sac State's reputation.

In case anyone wants to track the team's charter to Fort Collins...
