The program was featured during the sports segment on the 5 o'clock news last night (Thursday, Jan. 14). Rod Mackey came to campus on Wednesday and spent a couple hours with me and the team. He loved everything he saw.

He told me another, longer version is going to run Sunday night on the Overtime show on 9News.

If any of you get Denver TV, check it out.

The best part about last night's segment: "College basketball is undergoing a bit of resurgence throughout the state this year, with DU, CU and CSU all having great seasons so far. But the best program in the state might be in Greeley at Northern Colorado ..." Pretty cool.

I was watching the Gonzaga and St. Mary game I think it was, and UNC got a shot out by one of the announcers on there. Talk about how well UNC basketball was doing, he said some other stuff, but I wasn't paying attention.

I heard the same thing while I was watching that game I think he said to watch out for Northern Colorado at 15-3 with a one point loss at Oklahoma they are for real!

"Might be" that's a slight, we kicked the shit out of both CSU and DU so there is no doubt.

It's definitely not a slight ...

You can't make the case that we ARE the best team in the state, so therefore we MIGHT be the best team in the state. It's all semantics. We're playing well (or were before tonight), but there's a lot of season left.
