The new AD has to be all about raising money. Sad but true but that's all that matters anymore... They did a thing on 60 Minutes about this last fall using Michigan as the example. Of course that's not UNC but it's the same idea on a smaller scale. There's money out there. Go get it. Get some naming rights going - Monfort Stadium at Nottingham Field, or Lighthouse Lending Stadium at Nottingham Field, BlackJack Pizza (i think one of founders of BJ pizza is an alumnus) etc.
I totally agree Beardown, we have not been innovative enough with raising money. I have been saying this for years. We have barely scraped the surface ( I think) in regards to raising capital. There are a lot of big hitters out there that from what I hear, nobody contacts these people and they will do anything if just asked.
