QB is a difficult one, but I'd have to go with the guy that won the Championship game and the Payton the next year.

It's no disrespect meant from my list. The problem is Eastern has had a lot of great QBs. Mark Tenneson, Harry Leons, Lance Blankenship, and Vernon Adams also didn't make the list... and every one of those guys could just as easily been included.
Some of my logic for not putting him on was that he had the good fortune of having some great talent to work with. Erik Meyer and Matt Nichols each had a year where they just willed the team into the playoffs. Had Eastern made the playoffs in 2011 with all the injuries, I probably would have included Bo Levi. Obviously, this is purely hypothetical anyway, so no one really knows who'd best who in the fantasy scenario.
Still, I stand by my list as being pretty damn accurate, and I've been around Eastern football for a LONG time.

I never saw Erik Meyer or Matt Nichols play. Were they as good at making on the go play adjustments as Bo Levi? Personally, with all the receiving and O-line talent around the quarterback, this is something I would look for most.

wineguy said:Your right about Bo and the eye black. I have watched him accomplish unbelievable things, like the come from behind victory over NDSU in the playoffs. I don't disagree that Matt Nichols or Eric Meyer didn't make great contributions to the program, with the talent they had around them. They all had good to great WR's.
Yes, Bo is a back up QB in the CFL, and he loves it. Not sure what Eric and Matt's status is right now, but they didn't win a National Championship, and that has to account for something.
By the way, the 'eye black' your referring too, said "Family First", not only to his biological family, but also the family he inherited at EWU. Just saying, he deserves to be on the list.

Assuming you want to know what Erik and Matt's status is ... Matt is recovering from the second serious injury in the span of a year:

Erik's career may be done (?) - he's currently a free agent but getting up there in age by football standards.
Wineguy, I don't think anyone is denying the contributions of your son. That 2010 year was magical and the entire roster will be celebrated for years to come. The point of All-Time Lists are that they are just people's opinions... Fodder for message boards and the like!
