Around the FCS and Big Sky

It looks like NAU is catching their second wind after a few rough games without their starting QB.

I don't know what to think about Montana. They haven't looked good at all in this game, but Flagstaff is a tough place to play in.

Yup. And our offense is going to be able to pick apart Montana. Just have to see if our defense can keep them in check, like NAU has done.

Apparently playing Delta Valley State and St. Frances Little Sisters of the Poor doesn't prepare you much for playing any decent teams.

Go figure!

NAU 45 Montana 34 - FINAL
UND 28 ISU 21 - FINAL
UNC 27 SUCK St. 19 - FINAL
SUU 29 Weber St. 14 - 1:11 3rd
UC Davis 9 Cal Poly 7 - HALF

I still think Montana is a pretty good team, although perhaps not quite as good as the scores of some of their games might indicate. Either way, we're going to have our hands full next week.

Southern Utah blows a 22 point lead. Weber wins after looking lifeless for 3 1\2 quarters.

T-Birds led 36-14 until Weber scored a TD with 7:16 left in the game. Southern Utah gives up a safety on their next possession.

Montana's secondary is bad, really bad. We are going to absolutely pick them apart. They will have to bring pressure, at least they should, and that will leave us in a ton of one on one matchups. I wouldn't be surprised if we put 60 on them...

Funny to see how Stitt is doing his second time around when facing FCS teams. Today was the third team he has faced for a second time since being at montana and he hasn't won a rematch game yet...I think teams are starting to figure that gimmicky offense/system out and it hasnt turned out well for coach Stitt yet...

If Weber didn't $hit the bed in the 4th qtr at South Dakota (they were up by 17 I believe) they are probably a top 10-12 team right now. They look to be pretty good this year

Without a quality win. Still not buying them yet and I think UND handles them convincingly next week.

With you Weber isn't there yet. Don't think UND is either and would rate their match up next week a coin flip or +3 for UND at home.

I was really surprised that ISU was able to finish within a TD of UND and they were in the game throughout. for me, UND is the great pretender.
