Assistant Coach Dyson leaving?

Dyson was a TERRIBLE CB coach!! When Jay left the defense collapsed. The assistants have always been propped up by coach Hill and without him here the defense or lack thereof was immediately exposed! Dyson was fired from Clearfield as a HC and the CB’s were not great with him at Weber. Wish him well but definitely not a big loss.
 
Gotta disagree with you there and I’m speaking from experience. Great coach, great guy, players loved him. He coached 3 All American corners at Weber. Not his fault Mental is running the program into the ground.

Guess we have to stay tuned to see...haven't heard officially Dyson leaving from up on the WSU hill, where they seem tight lipped & have blinders on as to matters. Just keeping the public image that everything is fine & dandy, be happy, mediocrity isn't bad. There surely are some high school coaches interested? Maybe talk Hammer into returning to coach the defense? (Hope you catch the sarcasm that's meant here...the ship is leaking & listing on it's side, but hey, anyone interested in filling in for the 2 crew members that abandoned ship? Anyone?).

Dyson was a great player but I wholly disagree as a coach. Name 1 thing as a coach he did great without Jay??? All the All American corners were because of Jay. He sucked at Clearfield and that is fact.
 
Josh Morris was an All-American in Dyson’s first stint.

Sounds like you have a bone to pick with him. I don’t follow Utah high school football, I’m just speaking to my personal experience with him as a coach.
