Attendance question

I mentioned in a ticket thread a bit ago, that i got stuck with 8 tickets on the east side, waited 24 hours to buy the tickets :(

Think that enough people will bail out that we will be able to sneak over to the home side at half time? Or will there be so few Wabbit fans that EWU people will be over there with us? I don't want to get cold sandwhich in my face when we go up 21-0!

I'm affraid we will be shocked to see all the empty seats tomorrow. This cold weather will keep all but the TRUE Eagle fans at home huddled near their computer or radio.
The powers that be are showing great effort to make fans more comfortable by opening Reese Court at and after half time as a giant warming house.
Go Eagles

Sunny and 10 degrees is not too bad. However, add 10-20 mph North winds to that and it gets a little invigorating. I will be there, not sure how much sitting I will do. I would be surprised to see 5K at the game.

Totally agree. Was talking to a couple alumni and they said they were thinking about making the 5 hour trek, but because of the wind and weather they thought they would pass until next week.

I'm in the same boat as well. Forecast for Portland and through the gorge is less than optimistic and may forgo this game for next weeks. Not what i want to do but it is what it is.

Wow! Hope not, but after listening to Chaves interview podcast, sounds likely. Would be there if I could.

Invite a friend everyone who is going.

Come on Spokane -- Rise up!

I'll be there and have recruited three friends to join. Must admit, was tempted to take in the game with a hot cup of joe in front of the computer but when I think of our guys suiting up and playing thier guts out well....We all need to be there! :notworthy:

+1 The weather is what it is. If I could physically be there, I would.

Everyone needs to recruit like 10 other folks and drag them out to the game. Weather be damned. It's called wear more clothes. It'll be sunny with no winds, just cold (I.E. high pressure).

I'll be there. It looks as if my usual game posse is bailing on me though. It's my senior year, and these are my last opportunities to watch EWU football from the student section. You can't keep me out of this game. Going to have to pretty much wear my entire wardrobe, though. BRR!

Tell your usual posse to toughen up some and get their butts out there! This team deserves the support of the fans cold or not!

Nothing will stop us from tailgating tomorrow. I'll have the fire roaring, the whisky flowing, and the tunes cranked.

My guess is it will be a lot like the SEMO game back in 2010. Hardly anybody in the stands that day due to the extreme cold (sub 4k attendance... ) but we all know what that win started.

Christmas Story is my favorite.

I know this is redundant regarding the weather, but was just out in the Spokane Valley at 4 degrees and a stiff North wind. Haven't felt this kind of bitter cold wind since living in the Flathead Valley. Getting psyched for the game tomorrow.

Ha! I'm from Lake County. Small world. According to the forecast, the wind should be weak by game time. I seriously doubt the cold alone is going to weaken our passing game like many SDSU fans believe.

I was there for all of that playoff run, what a ride!
