The curse is lifted! We are free my brothers! Sam Houston holds us down no longer. Excellent work by our incREDible team getting the job done. We had a lot of first game mistakes, but our players came together as a unit to get it done.

I made a prediction on AGS which said

Our coaches are masters at adjustments, thus why we always come out hot in the third quarter. I think SHSU will score plenty to open the game, but in the second half our coaches will know what to do about it. This is where we will pull in front.

Major props to our coaching staff being able to turn situations around when you had no way to prepare for what was coming from the Bearkats.
 
What did you think of Keeler calling a time out with just over 1 minute left and SHSU was down two scores? I thought Baldwin would not try to score again but when Keeler stopped the clock, all respect was out the window. Your thoughts? Was Keeler just dragging out the obvious?

Had Keeler not called a TO, we'd have taken a knee. I've got no problem if he wants to play it out, just don't cry when we put 7 more up. He brought that score on himself....
 
I thought running the ball in at the end of the game was a bs move but I'll come and eat my crow anyway. Ya'll have a ridiculous offense and kicked our asses fair and square. Good luck and hope to see you again later in the year this time at Bowers.

I wonder why Keeler called that last timeout when the game was obviously over. I think your coach did that to you.

Your team is super athletic and when that QB's accuracy improves the Kats are going to be a force.
