Bears Store?

Does anybody know what happened to the Bears store or why it's no longer on the uncbears website?

Good question. I did find the bookstore link on the main UNC web page:

They dropped that a couple years ago and no logical explanation was ever given. It had something to do with the athletic department not competing with the bookstore but why the athletic department can't have a link or work in conjunction with the bookstore I don't know. It doesn't seem to be an issue at every other school in the country. :lol:

And to be honest the items the bookstore has on offer aren't too exciting. It's the sort of stuff your grandmother might pick out for you. :shock:

The new website host and Barnes & Noble don't have a cooperative agreement the way CSTV and B&N did. That's why its not on the site. It disappeared a couple of years ago on the CSTV site because it cost $$$ to maintain--an add-on.

The bookstore & the book stop both have good tees and sweatshirts, but for hats, go to lidz.
