Beat UNC

UNC should kill MT. WT = MT right? BQ isn't very hard to contain. Trevor Morris did a pretty good job containing him last night and if Darin Mahoney wasn't hurt and could have stayed in the game to contain that Selvig dude, Weber would have been the ones to lose to UNC tonight.

Plus, I'm freakin stoked to see UNC play BYU in the NCAA tourney. When the do, it will be fun to watch Jimmer Freddette against Devon Beitzel. Speed and quickness I's have to go with Beitzel, but the better shooter is Freddette. Plus, BYU's star center knocked up his woman, violated the honor code, therefore was dismissed from the team. So I'd give the edge to U...N...C...Bears!!!

purplehaze, I just fell out of my chair. You are finally thinking clear!! It couldn't be due to all that chocolate & office milf. huh? GO BEARS!!!!

Incidentally, Selvig had 8 boards tonight, equaling the high rebounder for Weber, and only one less than the leader for UNC (who was a guard; where were your big men??).

20/13, 20/17. I think we all get the point.

And yes, I agree UM will have their hands full. But if you don't think the Griz can win, you may have a very, very sad evening tomorrow. Experience means a great deal in these things. Montana has it, and you gotta figure that's worth 5-7 points, about what the home court is worth.

Our big men also aren't 6'11" and 7'

How do you not understand that Selvig is a P*SSY?

Don't worry bout everettjizz, the guy (or girl not sure) is a douchebag. He's/her is super sensitive, and if you don't see it his way, "you don't know anything about basketball." I owned him/her last time.

Yeah, you owned me all right. You owned me to the point that your own Mod had to tell you how off base you were:

everttgriz had a well reasoned response to a comment made about a Montana player. Nothing wrong with that.

And man, you sure talk about jizz and men you wish were woman a lot. It's fair to say I have some concerns about you....

I for one think it's going to be very close regardless of who will win tonight. I'm concerned about Montana's inside/outside game. That's something we don't have. If our bench plays like they did tonight - Garnica and Procter, we should win. They made the difference last night, especially when we were down. Garnica has an awesome future with the Bears.

I, too, think it's going to be a very close game. I like Montana's inside game against virtually anyone. But the Griz are going to have to shoot it better than they have the past 3 or 4 weeks. Cherry and Jamar have got to get to the rim, and the loss of Stockton is going to hurt the defense. Somebody is going to need to step up and defend the Bears' 3-point shooters. What concerns me the most is free throws. If UNC shoots even half as many as they shot yesterday, the Griz cannot win.

My concern is that Montana has some guys that can flat out shoot the ball and we seem to struggle getting players out to cover the 3-point shot. Montana has some great speed as well. I look for a more run and gun game that will come down to the wire.

Actually, Montana is a pretty poor 3-point shooting team. They shoot 30.9% from beyond the arc as a team, which according to kenpom.com is good for 308th best in the nation. They've got only two guys shooting above 35% from downtown, Art Steward (37% on just 27 attempts) and Derek Selvig (40.7%).

What concerns me about Montana is their defense, especially Qvale.

ALL YOU GOT TO DO IS CONTAIN BQ, AND YOU WILL WIN. JUST PUT A BODY ON HIM AND DON'T LET HIM UNDER THE BASKET. UNC IS GOIN DANCIN! BEAT THE HELL OUT OF THEM.

ARE YOU SERIOUS? IM SURE THE BEARS FANS AT THE WSU-MT GAME SAW IT. WHEN STOCKTON GOT HURT WAS THE TURNING POINT IN THE GAME AGAINST WEBER. STOCKTON IS YOU'RE WEAKEST LINK ON THAT TEAM. HE'S NO JOHN, THATS FOR SURE.

IF STOCKTONS OUT, UNC WILL STILL WIN, BUT THEY WILL NEED TO PLAY BETTER DEFENSE. STOCTON CREATES NOTHING FOR THE TEAM. HE IS THE "BEARS2010" OF MONTANA.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Easier said then done. He's a hell of a player.
