Big Sky/Mo Valley Challenge

If this turns in to an every year thing, it would be nice to get in on some of it. Bring some more FCS teams to Portland. In talking to some of the UNI fans that came out for the playoff game, they were really impressed with the city and the stadium. Most said they would not mind returning (although they also said it is our turn to go to Cedar Falls).

We're allowed a minimum of three out-of-conference games. Two of those games pay the bills by playing FBS teams (e.g. BYU, OSU). That leaves a single game out of conference and, yes, I think it makes sense to draw some interest rather than do the same ole, same ole.

Effectively, this would be like a preseason game against a national contender from a highly competitive conference like the Missouri Valley. I think this makes much more sense than just playing UC-Davis or someone already very familiar to us. We should use this sole game as a

All we need to do this is a competitive program. I'm not seeing it, but maybe I will.
