Everything is bad about the game day experience. From Jake to the crap music played during timeouts. Against Eastern, we lost the crowd when the crew played some weird synthesizer number. Uh, know your crowd and keep the atmosphere pumping. You have to know your audience and keep them involved if you want to make the game the "place to be."

Funny you say this. I was watching Lillard and Co. in the Rose Garden on TV the other night and was barely paying attention to the half-time and timeout entertainment but what I did notice was similar in the sense that they had a guy singing/performing in a hip-hop/synthesizer kind of vibe. The music seemed too loud from my perspective but that was on a couch in Utah. They had a version of SATOG, some fan basketball shooting contests, and their dance team doing what I believe was also along the hip-hop line of entertainment. None of it was very enticing to this older, white guy from Utah, but I noticed there didn't seem to be much crowd interaction, excitement, or interest either. Of course it was a large (I'm sure) paying crowd but there seemed to be parallels to the entertainment interest we enjoy here.

USU gets their game on CBSSN
UVU gets their game on ESPN+

and WSU and SUU get PlutoTV..... :wall:

The national coverage of this conference is near non-existent. We have even be delegated to ESPNU for the championship game....

The local coverage of this conference is abysmal... Standard Examiner and Pluto TV. Nobody in Utah knows the games are even being played.

Well here I am eating crow for WEber Nation!

Well, I was pleasantly surprised. Weber State stepped it up. The 18 point cushion was nice in the end. Can someone tell them not to inbound to the coffin corner. It’s like voluntarily slamming your hand in the car door.

Hope they keep it up and don’t spot Montana a 20 point lead this time. Tough to beat a team three times in a year. If they play like they did today, I like their chances.

Well...the Cats showed up and got the quarterfinal victory. Now to tangle with the Griz. Will we spot them another 20+ point lead again or actually play 40mins? Would be nice to knock them out of the tournament early.

Tonight is the matchup the conference wanted. If this game were in Ogden or Missoula, you'd get more fans then the total attendance from all the womens and mens game combined. Such a shame. The Big Suck trying to make the conference seem bigger than they are. Either way, on the road, we lost by 7, when thye had Akoh who went off for 25. I guess he should still be out, so thats nice. A 3 point loss at home, without Akoh, so this game is a true toss up. UM seems to have out number in the tournament though. I would love for WSU to win this game, as the path to the tourney goes through either WSU or UM. I am not holding my breath, but I hope we win.

Seriously, Pluto is unwatchable. I won't watch games on that service. Why can't the conference at least get on ESPN+? I'd gladly pay the fee to watch. Although the WAC is a better conference, even they get ESPN+. Just another reason why UVU (and soon Dixie) has passed Weber up. Big Sky isn't doing Weber any good. But I guess we fit right in, what with the "just enough" attitude of the conference.

Well another pathetic first half in game three versus Montana. That translates to poor coaching and not enough adjustments. I doubt a comeback happens today. Maybe a good thing this isn’t very accessible to the general public.

Que the comments from Rahe on how Montana is old and veteran. Can’t imagine a CIT or CBI invite. I would hope they turn it down if they were invited.

A swing and a miss. Didn't see much heart or a battle worth watching. Probably the most underperforming Wildcat team of the last 20 years.
