The word from his agent is that, although he played 17 games in 20/21, he was injured for part of that shortened season and they are granting another year. It doesn't make sense to me either, but it is a windfall for Blaize. I hope he gets a big payday. I think he will. How? Dude has played 5 years of NCAA college basketball (DII/DI all count). Love Blaise, but the insanity infecting college athletics has to end. The CLOCK must be enforced. He has no eligibility.
Wasn't there only 17 games that season? hahaha Well, okay. Good for him. I hope he gets a nice payday too. Also, it will give him a chance to play at a higher level and showcase his skills. As for Hall, it would be incredible to get him. From what I understand, Duft does have a good relationship with him.The word from his agent is that, although he played 17 games in 20/21, he was injured for part of that shortened season and they are granting another year. BTW, Dallin Hall just entered the portal. I would love to see him in purple, if we have the NIL to attract him. He could be a game cchanger for us.
We nearly got him the first time around. I'm not sure if it was Randy's track record with RMs or just the allure of BYU to a local star. Anyway, I do think that Eric has a good relationship with him and his family. He would be a big star with us and really stand out. At BYU he was kind of an afterthought. They have a bunch of 4 and 5 star guys who get the lime light. He still did a great job for them.As for Hall, it would be incredible to get him.
