Boise Speculation

On KTIK radio in Boise...

General media consensus is that Taylor Tharp has the inside track to be the next BSU quarterback. That leaves Nick Lomax on the bench.

So the host and the sports editor of the Idaho Statesman take sides (in a semi-contrived point-counterpoint segment)...

Host: Nick ran away from Portland, and would switch positions to stay with the Broncos.

Editor: His father's coach is returning to PSU, the system can set records, Nick will want to return to Portland.

Obviously, Lomax would compete in Boise during the spring. After that, who knows?

this would be awesome, brining nick back would be a huge step to our success

BTW with Tharp at QB BSU will win 9 games at tops next year, watched him play live on many occasions, not very good

I have watched him as well, Tharpe is a pocket passer and crumbles under pressure alot. Not to say the Zabransky didn't be he was able to run the ball to make up for his mistakes or broken plays. Tharpe wont.

I really thought that coughlin would be the guy but.......

if tharp starts expect a loss to Washington, a blow out loss to Hawaii, and a loss to some unknown(there has been talk of USC)

If we get Lomax all of a suden I'm not so sure White will start

Frankly, I couldn't tell you if Lomax is better than White or not. I'd almost be willing to bet on White.

The point is that they'd push each other.

Looks like Bush Hamdan is the man.

I hear Bush will be the man for BSU going into their fall camp. BSU won't be as good as last season but they'll be a great running team w/ that great offensive line blocking for Heisman candidate Ian Johnson. They're always better than their opponents on special teams, too.
