Question: I hate the idea of this discussion and it has gone on way too long. Why is this believed Weber State employee calling out the fans who do not attend all school athletics specifically women's sports?

Why does the Weber State administration make is so hard to be a fan? If you wonder why people don't go to games, and support Weber State...this thread is a prime example.

This thread isn't a great example but I can think of a long list where you wonder if they are trying to alienate the fans. The depressing part his when fans offer their free time to help WSU because they see the need and then they just get blown off. I believe this happened with WSUCATFAN recently.
You just have to remember to 'love the uniform' not the player or the administration. A good example would be the NY Yankees. A lot of people dislike Alex Rodriguez and Steinbrenner...but they are fans of the uniform not the player in it or owner.

Anyway, this discussion worries me. It seems as if the Athletic Department hates its own fans. Weber State, fellow students and alumni, and the community at large all deserve better from the institution and its administration. Bovee, has been the AD now for 7 weeks, in my opinion thats enough time for an AD to figure out which parts of the tree are rotten and need to be cut away, and which parts should be kept.
I never remember hearing about a search while Bovee was on interim status. Isn't that against the law? Doesn't a state institution have to conduct a search when an employee resigns or is let go? How on earth is the higher ups getting away with this? Also, doesn't an AD have to have a higher degree upon being hired. It says he is working on one, to me thats not the same thing as having a higher degree.
In my opinion, its just going to be the same as Graybeal. Lets not actually treat fans or alumni with respect, lets just tell them what they want to hear. Integrity, no, don't count on that at Weber State. Damn right, its hard to be a Weber State fan, and I'm starting to really get sick of it. I love the tradition and teams, even most of the coaches are alright, but the lying, back stabbing, laziness that happens in that department has got to end or the school will continue to lose fans and potential fans.
