Bruce Barnum

You know it’s a curious position to be in when the only reference one can find on Google to Barnum’s contract status is an off handed comment late in a different thread on this board. Maybe we need a sticky thread to pin these things down… but we need someone to man the pins.

Supposedly, one more year on the contract. Not going to speculate if it it’s like the deal Bryan Harsin had at Boise State, where he got a year tacked on for every winning season. And then he bailed for Auburn and lasted 1.5 seasons. (Not sure if Auburn is currently still paying three former HCs right now, but I heard something along those lines.)

So how are we these days when it comes to buying out a couple hundred grand? Seems slightly unlikely. New AD does mean Barnum needs to think in terms of having a foot out the door.

BTW- anyone else hear that MBB beat Oregon State last weekend?

So, at least one more year of BarneyBall in Hillsboro. What we need here is divine intervention.

With either a new President or Interim President coming in 2023, it could be several more years of BarneyBall in Hillsboro before everyone becomes comfortable with making a decision on Barnum's tenure.

OMG, please let it be Barnum!

Turns out we’re not that fortunate.

I had to look back because it wasn’t that long ago when Cody was QB at Bishop Kelly in Boise and his name was mentioned every freaking week. Only 17 years ago.
