BSC recruiting update

Been looking over the recruits that have committed at the other Big Sky schools. Wow, Coach Rahe has really pulled the rabbit out of the hat this year. Jordan Dallas is the star of this class and judging by the offers, I'd say that Emmanuel Nzekwesi is #2. The top recruits in the Sky are both coming to Weber.

I think Tyler Hall would be in the top two. But Weber has the two best bigs to verbal. Here's my top six conference HS recruits who have verbaled so far, in no particular order:

PG Michael Oquine - Montana (3 Star - Scout; 2 Star, 65 Grade - ESPN; 3 other known offers)
SG Tyler Hall - Montana St (3 Star, 78 Grade - ESPN; 13 other known offers)
SG Mandrell Worthy - Montana St (3 Star, 73 Grade - ESPN; 2 other known offers)
PG Michael Green - N Arizona (3 Star, 75 Grade - ESPN; 1 other known offer)
PF Jordan Dallas - Weber (2 Star - Scout; 3 Star, 70 Grade - ESPN; 15 other known offers)
SF Emmanuel Nzekwesi - Weber (16 other known offers)

I would say the top verbal so far would be Tyler Hall or Jordan Dallas, with the edge going to Dallas because he's a big.

:+1:

Personally, I think the number of offers a recruit has and the type of programs recruiting a kid is the best indication as to how good that recruit really is and what type of potential he has. All of Weber's recruits, with the exception of Court (who made it known he was an automatic mission kid) had a lot of offers. Dallas had over 15 and so did Nzekwesi. Williams had, I believe, 7 or 8. Only Tyler Hall, who committed to MSU, is comparable. The rest really aren't. I feel coaches have a far better read on players than a scout. The scout could have a bias one way or the other.

This is a little off topic but did you happen to look on verbalcommits how many players NAU is interested in or offered??? I think they offered oldrunner and myself. Seriously they have 3 commits, 1 open spot left and 20 (twenty) open offers for 2015. 10 offers for 2016 and only 3 spots left. Me thinks that is a bit excessive on the offers. If you have a pulse you might be offered.

Sure; NAU made an offer. However, when they found out that I was really pulling for Sac St, they immediately withdrew the offer. I've been waiting for the right offer for over 40 years. I could, probably, start for SUU, but Robinson hasn't knocked on my door yet. :shocking:
