• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Building future home schedules

Yeah, I familiar but thanks for the geography lesson. That's what I asked for, the excuses. I guess the virtual home game would be dependent on if the home town supported their team or not, unless you're suggesting WSU would get the BYU treatment at UI. There's no valid reason Weber couldn't regularly get home games against D1 teams if they/Rahe wanted them. It's all a bunch of lame-@ss excuses. But hey, their pathetic home schedule provided me with some extra Christmas spending money.

As for the still ranked but not for long pukes, I enjoyed watching them play their 1st and only OOC road game against unranked, 4-loss Wichita and getting it handed to them. I especially enjoyed watching LK come unhinged as he usually does when things don't go his way and get T'd up.

I think that we, as fans, propose an institutional rule for the AD and Pres. to consider.

Proposed rule: Never allow any head coach to schedule, other than exhibition, more than one non D1 home game.

Anything else should result in a fine to the coach that would = the number of season tickets multiplied by $10 plus $1 for each full time students at the university, per non D1 game on the schedule. That fine money could be used to pay back the season ticket holders or used for another, non revenue sport at the university. This year the coach would have been fined close to $100,000. The golf team could have really benefited from that.
