That's an easy buy. With the big three (EWU, MSU and UM) and the talent at PSU and potentially Weber. I'd say that's a safe bet. Not to mention our new additions.

BTW- heard from a VERY reliable source that there is next to no doubt that Padron is the guy come fall. Can't wait.

Sell, too many outstanding LB'ers and D-line that got a lot of attention last year. It may be seen as "their turn". On O, again it seems usually the awards go to a kid who has "paid his dues". As far as Rookies, every team thinks theirs are the best so the supporting cast will be important. Crapshoot

Clawman- not sure which DL and LBs you saw last year... I thought that group was beyond miserable, coniditoning at the DT position was laughable--- the guys couldn't even stay on the field for more than about 3 plays in a row. The D couldn't stop a geriatric old man in a walker from coming up the middle... That running D might have been the single worst I've ever seen in EWU's history. I remember Sac State's backup QB with no previous snaps to his credit before the game dicing the Eagles like a hot knife through butter... and this wasn't some high-caliber running back, he was a backup QB

Eastern needs to show dramatic improvement in these corps in order to succeed this year. Staying healthy will be huge, but our schedule will be rough on the health again.

Actually I think I misinterpeted your post. I believe you meant guys from other teams that were outstanding... not EWU's guys.

Actually I think I misinterpeted your post. I believe you meant guys from other teams that were outstanding... not EWU's guys.

Correct, I was thinking of MSU D linemen and several other linebackers around the league.

That would be a pretty good over-under. I'd take the under by following conventional wisdom about each team breaking in new QBs. I still think Eastern has more talent on offense, but Idaho is really strong on defense.

I don't know how they did it, but they got that DT that flunked out at WSU eligible and they have a solid crop of linebackers.

If it was a stright up bet, I'd take the under. It'll probably be another Eastern's passing offense moving the ball around pretty well versus Idaho's running game doing the same.

I pray that is not the case...being selfish I guess. It will be very difficult to replace such a class act and supporting staff. I am really blessed that my son can have his life influenced by such a great group of men.
