Nice stadium, good to have that kind of money, plus I heard the other day that Jake Jabs(sp?) owner of American Furniture Warehouse, donated 25 million to MSU. Must be nice

I didn't know the scoreboard was part of the same project.

Makes you wish schools like ours had as large and dedicated fanbases and great tradition doesnt it?

Nah, just rich. We need a T Boone Pickens

Yes, he's a Montanan and an alum, 25 million for the college of business, they will build a building and put some of it into a scholarship fund, last year he donated 3 million to an entrepreneur program at MSU. this latest donation is the largest single donation to a university in Montana.

The Stadium upgrade was 10 million, 4 million in bonds by the school and 6 million in private donations from 700 donors, there were 2 gifts of 1 million each and one of 750,000

Damn Jake Jabs help out the Colorado schools and the alum that work at your headquarters in Meridian, CO.

Oil and gas companies are finding large amounts of oil in the Greeley area, maybe we will have a T. Boone Pickens or a Jerry Jones soon to help fund our athletic program.

You know we should not laugh at this proposal. I have always thought we needed to do a better job with funding! Are we really hitting the big hitters?? Even on a lesser level, I don't believe we are doing all we can. We have made awesome improvements. Look at the locker room, its as nice as the broncos !! Ok, we are getting off track with this post. Last week the offense was finally moving the ball and the defense continues to be giving up way too much. How long are we going to continue giving 10 & 15 yard cushions to opposing receivers?? Are we worried about getting burned?? Geez, we are getting toasted anyway so play tighter . Maybe we could have a chance at some interceptions !! Go Bears!!

I agree with Beardevil, let's talk about the positives from last week. The offensive play calling was much better. Glad to see they used Labato's arm a little more, and with more of the quick short passes. I'll take 5 to7 yds every play. 27 total offensive points, the key being offensive and not special teams or defensive points. Hopefully we see the same approach today.

Defensively, yea, what to say about that? Too much to hope they keep it on the ground where Bumpis can get to em? Seriously though, again I'm in agreement with Beardevil, I would like to see tighter coverage, we have almost no chance for a pick with the cushion we are giving everyone and risk missed tackles and big yards after catch with the current scheme IMO. Personaly I'd rather see us risk the long ball once in a while to the repeated short to long gains we have been seeing?

Either way though I have seen improvement in many areas over the last couple weeks, hoping to see that trend continue....Go Bears!!
