'Cats Lose To BYU

Let's look at the bright side. We got a personal demonstration of how TEAM play and sound fundamentals and defense TRUMPS talent!!!
Sorry, meant to say trumps athleticism! Because I think talent is both natural and developed!

I saw ybu in Logan, and that was a totally different team we saw Wednesday night. As has been said we missed Bull & Otis tremendously. Illness didn't help. There were times I looked at Richardson, Wheelwright, and Lillard in our zone defense (it was a 3-2 Tal), and thought we are ridiculously undersized tonight against 3 shooting guards between 6'5"-6'8". Future players Fuller 6'7", Hill 6'7", and even Berry @ 6'4" will be a welcome sight in the future.

Some of the posters on here are drama queens.... I really don't think Rahe needs to swallow his pride & evaluate himself, Catbasketballfan..... Get a clue...

Wheelwright looked good for his first D1 game. Tresnak continues to develop. We'll be alright. We'll be poised for another conference crown , and I'm still not convinced ybu will. I still have images of how bad they were in Logan.

Also, having a post like Bolomboy, who has great speed for his size, will be nice. Nonetheless, if Bull and Mook would have been able to play then the size difference wouldn't have been so bad.

Oh, yes, I was aware of the 3-2 zone attempted on Wednesday. It was a nice change of pace, but didn't work very well. Thats why I think a 1-3-1 would be an interesting experiement, especially for our size.

I agree in regards to the size disparity not quite as glaring with Bull & Mook, but I was referring to those 3 mentioned as fair dinkum Wing players, 3's. Bolomboy, while not a wing in any way, will be able to stretch the defense.
