GO WILDCATS

You would think that they would considering that they are only showing one game on Saturday (Tulsa @ New Mexico, beginning @ 6 PM), and that The Mtn. is headquartered in Denver (a short drive from Ft Collins). What's the point of having your own TV network if that network only shows one live game a week? Also, #2 Texas is at Wyoming and is not on TV. Think the Mtn. would jump at the chance at showing this game.
Wildcat Attack said:I think this is going to be a good test; Higgins will bounce back, don't worry. if you're a QB, WR, or a kicker, you have to have a very short memory when it comes to negatives...one snap and clear.
the defense did a great job against wyoming, the goal line stand was very impressive. the line is a young unit that is coming along very, very quickly. the LB's need to execute quicker, flashes of brilliance here and there, but we need consistency across the board.
look for Bo Bolen to get more reps, exciting runner and very quick. Smith looked a 1/2 step slower than last year, and we'll have to create opportunities for him to break loose.
GO WILDCATS!!!!
SWeberCat02 said:I feel good about this game for a few reasons.
1-The hype and excitement isn't there like it was last week. A lot of people were picking Weber, and even expecting Weber, to beat Wyo. That's a lot of pressure that won't be there this week. The team will be much more relaxed.
2-1st games are usually sloppy and I think Cam and the boys will be much sharper on offense this week (Cam learned a lot last week and won't try to force things this week). Also, there will be fewer penalties and mistakes.
3-Colorado State's defense isn't as good as Wyoming's, especially the D line. This will allow the run game to get better established. Cats were too pass oriented against Wyo, due to the pokes front shutting down the run.
4-Weber's defense, which played good against Wyo, will only improve and will have another solid game (Although I think stopping the run will be key, as Wyo ran the ball well and Colorado St has better backs).
5-Weber finished last week strong and that should carry over to start the ballgame.
Anyway, just an armchair quarterback's opinion. GO CAT!

Why would the Mtn want to show a game in the current year when they can show one that is 3 years old??
