Not sure how EWU stayed with Nevada because they just don't look good at all. They need to try another quarterback, BLM is not getting it done

Dude, D2 football out west is laughable and we NEED an FCS school to help us out every year. The GNAC has five teams and isn't even considered a "conference" because you need at least six teams.

someone should convince Eastern Oregon to move to D2 from NAIA

Southern Oregon is a better fit, and Azuza Pacific has been threatening, but it's mostly just a pipe dream to think ANY team is coming to the D2 on the western seaboard in the forseeable future. It's a shame, too, because nationally D2 is thriving. I feel like the only way to assure our program sticks around for the long-term is to move up. I've never understood why we didn't move up when you guys did. Frustrating.

I'd prefer if we didn't have another D1 school in the state, especially FCS stealing our recruits, but i could totally see it happen, especially since the Big Sky is looking for another all sports playing member.

We dont spend NEAR the money you guys do (we're at 4 million, you guys are around 7 so so, I think) and your facilities are MUCH better than ours, so we'd need to raise a whole bunch of dough to make it work.....

AND....that's game.........Great luck the rest of the way......

Holy Mackeral. Now we get to see what our untested QB is made of!!!!!

Great game, and one in which you guys probably deserved to win. I'm just hoping the injury tally isn't going to be too bad after this one.

And please, oh football gods, let us have Taiwan for the Montana game.

The fumble TD that got called back, the ridiculous "helmet-to-helmet" contact penalty, and the earlier fumble that was called 4th down from BoLevi were the only things that kept it close in the 4th quarter.

We stroggled badly early on, and CWU outplayed us thru the first half. But I think we narrowly outclassed them in the second half. Still, far too close for comfort against a D2 team.

Congrats on the win, and lets hope Mr. Jones is healthy for next week's game on the red turf, which I kinda hate, but at least it has people talking......Montana is beatable. I'll be pulling for the Eags (as per normal, unless they're playing my Cats) the rest of the way.....

I hope we do it again next year!
