At least Rosenbach left before having any impact and before any player could form any type of bond with him. Given that he was hired after the season it's like he wasn't even there - no practices, no position meetings, etc. - guessing at most he may have been introduced to the players in a meeting. So, it's as if the OC position has just been open for a while longer than expected. Having said that, Rosenbach had a nice pedigree and experience, resulting in optimism that he could turn around Hammer's mess of an offense. Coach Sears was able to land Rosenbach,at least initially. Hopefully, he'll be able to land someone just as good, if not better - and he stays! As I said in another post, there 'is an incredible number of young returning 1s and 2s on this team that will be playing another 2 or 3 years that any OC, or DC, worth their weight, should be licking his chops to take over.
