Coaching

You'd think the way coaches move in and out of the program since Best took over that Eastern keeps winning national championships... I guess even though a lot of the moves seem lateral or backwards, they were steps up to FBS for many. I don't have a good memory for how many coaches moved on under BB or those who came before so may being a bit unfair to Coach Best but seeming anomalies keep piling up. Kind of where's there's smoke sort of guy...

Not much West Coast experience. Liked a youtube of a game he had against Portland State where he scored 4 TD's. No video of him blocking downfield :rofl:

He's inheriting a LOT of talent. Managing player expectation may be harder than coaching them up.

It's always like this. Nothing new. BB did have more stability, but even he had a few come and go throughout the years.
Part of the game especially at EWU where we are probably paying a little less here and other universities know that so they pillage when they can with extra cash when success has been proven by said coach.
