Committed Player List 2012

Your class looks great...

I hear that 6-8 OL Sean McGill from Tigard, OR has committed to the UNC Bears. ISU was recruiting him as well.

Thanks. I hear we are trying to be the last program in the country to actually release a list.

Yeah, this is getting ridiculous. :ohno:

Actually, its an attempt to schedule at a time that could allow for better coverage from the Post and others who also have CSU on their itinerary for the day. Plus all of the cross-checking to ensure everything is copacetic.

I just gave a cursory glance to each school's list (as released by The Sports Network)...and found not a single Colorado kid signed with another Big Sky team.

That may be a first since we joined the conference...or, at least, the exception.

I just saw that too. It looks like the OL (Painter?) who was headed to EW is walking on at Nebraska.

Is this a turning point in UNC football? It seems that there is more excitement and promise with this recruiting class than I can ever remember. That being said, I was never one to follow recruiting much and when I was in school, it was never reported on or even mentioned. Times have changed.

I gotta say I'm impressed with this class, considering how bad we were last season. I like the recruits from Flint. You gotta figure coming from a place like that, they've got a chip on their shoulder...a bit of nastiness. I think a full year of being with these coaches, including a new weight coach in Dinky Williams, we will see some major improvements. :thumb:

We have a new weights coach named Dinky?

Holy cow, if this is him then we are going to get huge:

I remember a tweet from coach Robinson saying Dinky has joined up at UNC. He was part of the Alcorn tree of coaches.
