NDSU radio had the committee chair on today and they nailed him pretty good....basically the committee didn't do their research at all and really haven't met...what a joke...he sounded like a fool.

Wondering if they were sober when they agreed on this?
After listening to the Chairmen speak to it, essentially the committee didn't rank teams in respect to seeding, didn't dive deep and analyze SOS or place any impact on conference rankings, SOS, margin of victory, etc, but will as they get closer to having to making those decisions.

It was a half-assed attempt at driving discussion, not a concerted effort at ranking the teams as if the playoffs were going to start today. Weak-ass shit. :ohno:

The AGS poll is more representative of reality

WSU win looking better every week. 69-7 over Arizona today. Ouch.

I'm sure there's some transitive property effect that would suggest we're better than quite a few Pac 12 teams.

I don't doubt it. I think WSU has gotten better throughout the season as well. Regardless, great win.

it might actually turn out to be the best win in program history, depending on how WSU finishes the season.

The NC will always be better IMO, until we win another one.

Matter of perspective. Regionally the WSU win is bigger, especially with the kind of year they're having.

I'm still pissed I didn't go. Could've gotten off the time from work, but didn't want to deal with the shitshow that is Pullman, and didn't think we would win. Shame on me. :ohno:

Agreed, the NC will always be bigger for me personally.

But logically speaking, if WSU ends up finishing in the top 20 or so in the AP Poll, there's no doubt that it will be the biggest win in school history.

Of course, the WSU win could end up being just a cherry on the top if this season plays out the way I think it will. :thumb:

Here are the updated committee rankings as of today.

1. Jax St
2. EWU
3. NDSU
4. JMU
5. SHSU
6. The Citadel
7. Chattanooga
8. Richmond
9. UCA
10. UND

Wow, that would put NDSU in Cheney for the Semis if both teams won out. Intersting.
Would be...but I still think when the dust settles NDSU will be 1 and we will be 2.

Imagine the absolute shit show that would be a semi final rematch in Cheney (as compared to a nati match up) followed up by a likely week 0 opening in Cheney next season... Wow

I love that we have created a tug of war between NDSU and EWU, through the FCS playoff system and our home-and-home matchup, within these past several years. We are currently sitting at 1-1 in our all time series with the Bison.
