CSC scrimmage and other musings

The Bears are hosting Chadron State (RMAC) for a scrimmage on April 10th, but I have no clue if they will allow the public. Does anyone have any info on that?


On another note, if you look at the roster and coaching updates, we’ve hired a few new coaches but we also keep losing offensive line coaches. When or if another one IS hired, he or she (you know how woke sports are these days), will be the third one for coach Ed’s staff in a year and they have not even played a snap.
 
They have a scrimmage today against CSU Pueblo I just now saw... didn't even know about that...
 
Why are we not hearing about things that are happening in Spring practice? Do any of you local Greeley people ever visit the practice field to check out how things look or is there no one who cares about what is going on with the team? I visit the UNC web site regularly and didn't even read that we were having Spring practice not alone that they had a scrimmage with CSUP. Us fans that don't live in the area are in the dark with what is going on. Is Dylan McCaffry on the team? He is not on the current roster.
 
Good points I agree or it's a new strategy that no other college program has ever tried and that's to not promote or get out information about your program... I mean why generate interest, right?

I saw some Chadron highlights on youtube and then tried to figure out who #5 was at QB and the roster online has no numbers... so everything is a big secret I guess... maybe the big secret will be me not interested later... :thumb: :roll:
 
Attended game last Saturday 4/10. Coaches mixed numbers to confuse teams viewing tape. Second scrimmage much more aggressive and showed in the results 43-6. All four QBs looked good, Dylan (as was Christan and Luke) was there but is not yet on campus. will start to see him over summer drills.

Running backs come in all sizes and seem effective, passing game was solid. Should be fun to support these guys in the fall particularly when the incoming class reports in.

Punting and PAT/FGs looks encouraging.

Suppose to be a closed practice, community support was very evident at both scrimmages.
