The Pioneers might be the toughest team in the state for us to beat...I hope the community comes out and supports the team.. I think we're going to need'em. DU runs the Princeton offense that is very similar to Air Force. IMO I think DU has better shooters than AF. Should be a good game and a win could get us even more publicity for this program. Anybody have any predictions on the game?? Anyone going?

GO BEARS!!

It's a big game in that it kicks off another run which sees them at TCU just 2 nights later and at Northern Arizona just 3 nights after the TCU game. Would be happy with a win over DU and a win over NAU in Big Sky play.

We play them every year so the offense won't be any surprise, however, they are improved, last year went to OT, I'd expect this to go down to the wire as well.

Excited for tomorrows game...I have been looking at some stats and compared the two teams...and I think that if the Bears can defend the perimeter on d and get good shots on the offensive side we should be just good...Also we should be able to out-rebound on both sides of the ball...If we play like we did on in the 2nd half vs San Jose State we should be just fine.

Should be a good game tonight. Wish the game wasnt during break so we can have a better students section. Still should be a good crowd though.

On the 22nd against SJSU the attendance was 2700. Not sure if they were running a promotion or something but another crowd like that would be nice. Man I hate DU, don't want to see us lose this one.

i cant stand any home games while school is out. we have the montanas at home this week. what a waste of 2 big games for us. i wish it was sac and ewu instead. sorry sac n ewu for the dis but we can get a better crowd for the montanas.

do you guys have a trophy for the in-state champion?

in utah we have the oquirrh bucket. it goes to the instate team with the best record or winning% against the others.

pic of trophy. kinda funny it has weber as WSC. we became WSU in 1990 and the trophy started in '76.

Nah Weber we don't have one..We Played CU 3 years ago and almost beat them and since they woun't schedule us anymore...(it doesn't look good when a small state school beats the big 12 school)..I hope we can get something going soon.

we scrimmaged CU the past two years and my sources tell me we smoked them both times. This year's was quite the beat down. . . don't look for the mighty CU to schedule us anytime soon.

Let's all get our butts to BH tonight!

Scott is a hard ass which I'd love to see from the football staff.

And if Montgomery could hit a lay up we'd win this by 30.

And he hit one just as I typed that, thanks! 8)

Was at the game liked the big crowd wish they were louder though. It will help when the students are back. The team played well except for that little cold streak in the second half but responded to it well. Loved Tad's reaction at the end of the game. Cant wait for the next home game

nice win! looks like u smoked em.

36-19 rebounds are you serious? so i though Banks graduated...LOL!

I saw the attendance was 3,013. What is considered a sellout?
And if you keep up these numbers you'll have one of the highest in the conf this yr.

Joe Scott is a 5'3" little pouty punk. He threw a fit from the opening tip to the time he was tossed. He should have been tossed at half-time when he got T'd up and kept going after the refs. He intimidated the refs (amazing that someone that tiny can intimidate anyone) into not tossing his ass at half-time.

The officiating wasn't very good but they let a lot of contact go which greatly benifited DU. DU has a mentality of entitlement which was embodied by little Joes conduct. I'm so glad we whiped the floor with them.

Weber the 3,000 people was considered a standing room only crowd but I don't know how accurate that number is...no less it was a great crowd considering there are pretty much no student up there...so I'm thinking with some student we will be having a standing room only crowd night after night, which is awesome to see..Oh in case anyone was wondering Jabril Banks is playing Pro ball in Germany.

I just looked up some youtube videos on FC Bayern Munich and it looks like a lot of fun to play there (though the arenas are small).

About 28 seconds in they show the crowd and it looks like a proper soccer atmosphere.

From a German site:

Farewell to Jabril Banks

Final farewell of Jabril Banks, who for the last time on the Bayern bench sat and applauded the success of his buddies. Jabril did not agree with his playing time in Munich and asked for a dissolution of the contract. He will play in the new year in Morocco.
