EFN - Eagle Football Network

Not sure if this has ever been posted, but if not, shame on me.

This is a non-profit group that is NOT affiliated with the University. It was started by former Eagle football players as a way to connect the past to present football players. It morphed from a brotherhood connection group, to mentorship for graduating Eagles, to a fundraising non-profit that has the ability to donate funds directly to the football program. They're the ones who are responsible for the recent locker room upgrades.

Each year about this time they have their main fundraiser and this year its October 3rd. Its a great event, casual dress, and its open to all. I did not play ball at EWU, just a fan who loves the program and wanted a chance to be closer to it. If interested, check it out.

EagSpectator and I have been going for a few years now and have noticed the event has grown over the past several years and needs to continue to grow, not only in the number of folks but the $$$ raised. The EFN does a great job in stepping up with the shortfalls of EWU's limited football budget but is a long ways from stepping us up to the top half of the Big Sky (not going to happen with the Montana's and wealthier schools but I would like to think we could be in the middle of the Big Sky). Any football loving Eag that is willing to talk football on this board should join the EFN. And yes, we all get it, we have not been very good for a few years now but let's not dig a hole so deep that the next guy up does not have a chance.
