ESPN Bracketology - updated weekly

I'm afraid you are correct - we would not get a lot of coverage. When I was a kid, I remember that Weber got a lot more attention from the slc media than they get today. Too bad things have changed - ksl probably gives us the most coverage followed by the Desnews. Rod Zundel (Weber Alum) used to do more, but I am guessing he is hamstringed by the shrinking tv audience and decreasing ad revenues. Still, I would like to see him come to the Purple Palace this weekend to do a feature at the UNC game.
Thank goodness for Jasen at the OSD and Wildcat Karl at KLO.

FEB 15

New Orleans
(6) BUTLER (23-4)
(11) Virginia Tech (20-4)
(3) Wisconsin (19-6)
(14) WEBER ST (15-8) / Big Sky

I wouldnt like this based on that fact that we played this same game in 2003, but again JUST GETTING TO THE BIG DANCE IS ALL WE CAN DREAM OF!!

A match up with New Mexico would be a good match up for Weber. I watched some of the Lobo's game vs Air Force yesterday and I wasn't impressed. But then I'm sure New Mexico is better than what they showed me yesterday.

New Mexico is definitely over-rated. They play, practically, their entire OCC at the PIT, which usually translates into 14 or 15 wins before conference even starts.

They aren't that great on the road or on neutral courts.

we just need to get in, i dont care if we play kansas...
im dyin to get back to the tourney, i went to our last 2, 2 of the funnest wsu trips ive ever been on. i guess i should mention ive been to nearly 30 wsu road games LOL

Bractology is a great way to demonstrate that the team has got to get their crap together earlier in the season. With Coach Rahe and our new AD, I think our scheduling should get better---albeit with tougher road games and fewer home games. But when we see ourselves at a 14, think about UCSB, Seattle, USU at home, and that is why. Idaho State, SAC, and Eastern kill us with our RPI when we have to play them. That is also why you give up the Montanta Tech's of the preseason and play on the road......better to loose at UNLV than beat a DII/NAIA school everytime.
