HONOLULU (AP) — The University of Hawaii men's basketball team will participate in ESPN's College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon for the second year in a row.

The university announced Wednesday that the Rainbow Warriors' Rainbow Classic matchup against Northern Colorado on Nov. 16 will be broadcast live on ESPN. Tip-off is set for 11 p.m.

The Rainbow Warriors had the same late-night affair last year, pulling off an overtime victory over Idaho State. It was Hawaii's first nationally televised home game in four years.

That's 11 p.m HT. And I believe, unless daylight savings gets in the way, that's 3 a.m. MT.

Look for something in the Tribune and on uncbears.com in the coming days.

That would be 5am Maryland time which means I just have to get up 1/2 an hour earlier than I normally do for work and then go into work 2 hours late. Works out kind of well for me.

:D

Yeah it's kind of a stretch calling that national televison though, yeah technically, but nobody will see it.

Really, any game on TV is national since the regional sports stations are kind of national as well (I get FSRM and Altitude here in Maryland).

Dang, the game is apparently at 2:00am Mountain time (4:00am Eastern). Looks like I will catch the end of it live when I wake up but will have to record it just in case.
