UNC isn't winning at Montana so this game will determine whether or not we are guaranteed at least a NIT bid and if we get another trophy in Ogden. Do we cut the nets in Cheney if we win? This game certainly would have been bigger if the tournament setting wasn't predetermined and hosting was at stake. However, two losses entering Reno would be painful. I look for Weber to shake off the bad shooting night and up the intensity.

No. Colorado has beaten Montana, so the Wildcats are regular season champions no matter. Now either NCAA or NIT bid results depending on what happens at the BSCT in Reno!

I stand corrected! Let's go WEber!!! Do not share the title with Montana. I know someone from the conference is in Mizzoula waiting to see if WEber wins before giving them the trophy. I want them not leave it in Missoula.

So there's a pretty good chance the 1 & 2 seeds loose the last 3 of 4 rolling into a neutral site tournament with every other team from the conference. reNO just keeps getting better, much like Rahe's ability to finish.

As for Weber, I'm having a difficult time determining if Weber State wastes a lot of talent or if I overestimate their talent.

I am proud of these guys, clutch shot by Joel.Very happy knowing that we won it outright.WAY TO GO WEBER!!!

Announcer goes off on the officiating for like 10 minutes, calls it "God Awful." Should that surprise anyone anymore? This conference has some serious issues with men's basketball. But does anyone care enough to make needed changes?

The refs sucked for both teams. I am joining others here and calling for a major redo of BSC refs.
EWU's PG McBroom is the real thing. He schooled Senglin big time. God I hope Cody John is ok. When Senglin is playing the point Weber sucks. McBroom almost won the game for Eastern single handedly.
Why didn't Rahe go to setting Bolomboy on the low post after Jois fowled out with 6 or 7 minutes to go. They got the ball to him in that location only one time for a "3" the old-fashioned way.
Bolomboy was the difference tonight. He was a beast that EWU had no answer for. Looks like he's got his sea legs back. Didn't look to be sucking wind like he was in the latter stages of the Idaho game.
Good FT percentage tonight, special thanks to Bolomboy. Why the Jekyl & Hyde act with their FT shooting?
Richardson had his stroke tonight. Finally...
Weber could have won this game handily if they had not had 19 turnovers to 9 for EWU. Mostly the fault of Senglin.
WOW!! The BSC is a well below average conference. I almost hope we loose the tournament and go to the NIT. At least we wouldn't get "bitch-slapped as a 15 playing a 2. We might have a chance to be competitive in the NIT, but not much chance of that in the NCAA's.

I don't know much about the Big Sky front office and how much they care, but it's safe to say there are approximately 10 basketball programs in the Big Sky who couldn't care much less based on a combination of their lack of attendance and lack of suitable facilities which both lead to poor recruiting and poor play. All-in-all, those of us on this board are in a select group who give a ____.

It could be the purple colored glasses I'm wearing, but I think Weber could make a respectable showing in the NCAA tournament (first round anyway, and provided they don't shoot themselves in the foot as they're often prone to do), and maybe even more so than in the NIT. They'd be playing on a neutral floor in the NCAA tournament, which is arguably more helpful than playing a road game in the early rounds of the NIT where Weber might have some problems.

I think you are way off as usual on everything,Senglin was attacking when Weber needed someone to attack OK he committed some turnovers but attacking brings success. And I think the whole team got aggressive at the end.

In the NCAAs, we would be playing with reasonably well respected officials. I like our chances with good refs.
NIT, not so much. :wall:
