5 TO's hardly feels like a win. Not sure anything was learned by this experience. GG still threw too many poor balls against less than BigSky defense. Defense probably got something out of this today with solid play. None of this will put the fear of Eastern into Montana. Next week is going to be tough and moreso if all these mistakes (TO's and penalties) continue to happen. Someone's wife got to go shopping in NYC, so that's probably a win for someone.

Next week should look like this...

There' still a ton to clean up, but it was a much better performance for the Eags even taking into consideration the level of competition. Any road win is a good win.

HC is trucking #6 UNH who beat GA So last week. No need to diminish the win. The Patriot is better than it used to be.

Transitive properties mean Patriot is better than it used to be? OK. Scarier is No. Colo is hanging with Colorado

Yep, UNC only down 21-31 with the ball. Plenty of time left, too.

Great win, the turnovers were unbelievable, but so was the defense! 10 sacks + 1 turnover.

Yes, and yes! This team has a propensity to turn the ball over a lot. Which seems pretty counter intuitive when you factor in how much more we have been running the ball this year. Our guys just need to get out of their heads mentally.

I think we beat Montana next week.

Good job by our guys today. There was a lot of stuff to clean up, but a dominant performance. We certainly bossed them all game. Offense was clicking like last year, except that we keep puking up the football. Defense was solid; almost a shame we gave up 21 as it felt like it should've been less.

Regardless, it was a good confidence booster before playing Montana. It might be starting to come together. We need to get healthy in some areas, and if we do, we can still come out of this rough patch alright.

They added schollies, Colgate beat two CAA's in the playoffs in 15. Beat Poly this year. Played Richmond tight.

It's showing on the field. :coffee:

Whoa! Dopa with some optimism. I happen to completely agree. Good W.

not sure where to put this...fyi texas tech up on arizona state 21-3 in the 2nd qtr...they could be foreal?

While I do believe Texas Tech is, in fact, a legit team, Arizona State isn't a good measure. They're in a downward spiral right now. They might be the worst team in the Pac-12 South.

Interestingly, Texas Tech could be the third most impressive team in the a big 12 thus far. Oklahoma and Oklahoma Atate appear to be the best, but that third spot is certainly up for grabs.
