EWU vs Weber State thread

Epic win when we needed it the most. Defense was great..........

Beumonte was class.....nice contribution from Brown as well. How about Gant and Kauffman? Huge.

And lastly, Mitchell stepped up big time and had his best game yet as an Eagle.

Keep the faith people. (Still hope we can get Taiwan back though) :D

Anyone remember what I said about Beaumonte a few weeks ago?

I certainly do. Beau had a great day today. Give some credit to the O-Line for making things happen. A solid win today. After watching a heart breaker in Sacramento, I see that every win is crucial in this conference. I still think the league is wide open, and almost everyone has a shot at the crown. I hope the Eags rally around this win on the road and get ready for a tough NAU. A MUST WIN GAME AT HOME!!! Let's go boys!

By far and away his best game but needs to stay within himself ! Finally this guy may have realized you don't need bombs to score points !! Great job across the boards GOEAGS!!

As a WSU fan it hurts to say this, but congrats on the win. Your team made the plays they had to to win the game, and your QB didn't do anything real fancy but he also didn't make many mistakes either. Good luck the rest of the season, and I am looking forward to coming up for the WSU game next year.

take away a few turnovers, and that game could have easily gone the other way. I gotta say, and i think quite a few people here could back me up, after looking at the Weber State facilities, I think it's really what EWU should strive to be like. Everyone would love to have a stadium like the griz have, but WSU's looked very much like what i'd envision Easterns to look like if i had my way. Where was everyone saturday though?!?

The attendance problem was threefold: 1.the game was telivised locally, 2.the heat-it was 90% 3.it was LDS(Mormon) conference.

ya, they should only televise the game locally if it's sold out...that's the way Boise State did it before they sold out every game, seemed to work.
