this is a joke. 55-21 at half and we cant nut up and make a couple of stops and move the ball here and there. Huge mistake pulling starters so early. This is on the coaches.

Simply atrocious play in the second half. And then we lose our best receiver late in a game that should have never been close.

Credit to the team not completely folding and seeing it through to the end. Ugly win is still a win. I don't have anything good to say about coaching in nearly all phases, so will refrain.

Most embarrassing win I've ever seen.

We lose our best receiver because we chose to not play defense.

We've seen this same movie over and over again. I think Best has to seriously consider restaffing the defense coaches. This amount of losses due almost solely to piss-poor defense can't keep happening. Eastern players dropped like flies in the second half, owing to the fact the defense can't get a stop and the game stays close.

4th and goal from the 10 yard line, and the defense allows a receiver to be uncovered in the endzone. Just unacceptable. Unfortunately, it sort of feels like par for the course. Defense shows some improvement and then regresses like this. Every team we play will see we can't handle any kind of counter, run or pass. Buckle up; every team we play will run that shit on us from now on.

Best receiver??? He drops as many or more balls that anyone. IMO the first coach I'd get rid of is the receiver coach. We don't need to replace him just save the salary

I’ll go ahead and state the obvious: we are not a top 10 team and will struggle mightily to compete with the upper third of the conference without significant improvement on defense. Top 10 teams know how to finish games and don’t give up 30+ point leads to conference bottom feeders, Missouri Valley or not.

Each game is its own but the 2nd half game plan clearly left a lot to be desired. As soon as they scored their 2nd TD the starters should have gone back in immediately. The offense is obviously explosive when clicking but it’s like we just stopped trying after halftime. I hope none of the injuries are too serious and that we get a good week of practice in and go kick the crap out of SUU.

We need to throw everything we have at Southern Utah and get a road win. Then we get two weeks to prepare for Montana. The trainers need to get busy and make sure we're fully loaded.
