Not trolling at all, just saw on our fan forum that you guys actually think we didn't want to play you in the opener. If any of you guys actually believe that you're more delusional than Jax State was leading up to the national championship.

why is your program scared to play us on espn? why do your fans think charleston souther is going to be a better game?

I am surprised that they chose that game for the kickoff. Seems like they are just interested in showcasing the NDSU program, when really they should be televising a game that will be interesting to casual viewers who are perhaps not as familiar with FCS football. I don't see how a 30 to 40 point blowout does much to improve the general perception of the subdivision.

For what it's worth, I don't think NDSU is too concerned with EWU in 2016. New Off line, new QB (more than likely). Still big ??? on defense.

On the flip side, their starting a new QB but the games at their place not at The Inferno. If the game was in Cheney totally different scenario. Now, if EWUs defense turns the corner and keep NDSU to 20-24 pts, EWU has a shot. Two great FCS programs.

NDSU's QB will be Jr. Easton Stick who was 8-0 as a starter last year when Wentz got injured. He threw for 1144 yards..13 td's 4 int's. So he has plenty of experience unless someone beats him out.

The "Inferno"! that's cute. Easton will carve your defense with seam passes, quick outside throws as well as on the ground. 8 games last year along with a running game featuring 4-5 really good players that rotate will be impossible for you guys to deal with.

I really wish we'd have played this game 2 or 3 years ago. In 2013 or 2014 with VA, I think we'd have had a really good shot. It's still an exciting and intriguing matchup. I don't know why ESPN chose the game they did.
